Warehouse Study and Registry

The Warehouse Study and Registry is a key project by the Department of Trade and Industry to improve food security and logistics resilience in the country. It aims to address supply chain gaps by creating a detailed warehouse study and an online registry. The project will guide policy and investment decisions by classifying warehouses, ensuring regulatory compliance, and building a system for emergency food storage and distribution.

To implement this project, DTI partnered with PRIME Philippines, a consulting firm selected through public bidding. PRIME will assess the current warehousing landscape, monitor supply trends, and provide strategic recommendations to strengthen food logistics and support e-commerce growth. The pilot study will cover 14 regions and 27 provinces, focusing on major agricultural and logistics areas to support national planning and future demands.
