On June 16, 2025, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), together with the Philippine Retailers Association (PRA) and the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP), unveiled the Section G: Job Blueprint for the Wholesale and Retail Trade Sector at SM North EDSA. This comprehensive framework is designed to enhance the sector’s competitiveness, outline workforce priorities, and open clearer pathways to employment. A two-day job fair also took place alongside the launch, offering immediate hiring opportunities in merchandising, logistics, warehousing, and frontline retail.
