Ortigas, Pasig City | October 14, 2025 —The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through the Supply Chain and Logistics Group (SCLG), convened with its logistics and industry partner, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to present the ongoing developments of its Supply Chain and Logistics Center (SCLC)—a government-led program developed to address systemic bottlenecks and strengthen logistics resilience across the country’s supply chain ecosystem.

In partnership with the ADB, the SCLC aims to provide timely information and advisory services to improve the flow of goods and support business operations, especially in times of disruption. During the session, ADB consultants guided stakeholders through proposed digital features that will foster collaboration, improve data-sharing, and support evidence-based policy development.
DTI Undersecretary Mary Jean T. Pacheco, who leads the SCLG, emphasized the importance of building a proactive and future-ready supply chain system. “The SCLC is not just about digitizing logistics. It’s about creating a connected ecosystem that empowers both government and private sector to act faster, plan better, and serve the Filipino consumer more efficiently,” she said.

The event was attended by key private sector stakeholders, including founding partners who earlier pledged their support during the SCLC ceremonial signing on June 18, 2025. Among those present were: 2GO Group, Inc., Airspeed, Cebu Pacific Cargo, DHL Express Philippines, F2 Logistics, FAST Logistics, FedEx Express Philippines, Flash Express, Grab, Laguna Gateway Inland Container Terminal, Lalamove, LBC Express, Maersk, Philippine Airlines Cargo, San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corp., Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines, YelloX Supply Chain Solutions, and the Philippine Multimodal Transport and Logistics Association, Inc.
The Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP), through its Supply Chain Leaders Advisory Council (SCLAC), facilitated the discussion as a key institutional partner, supporting the DTI in shaping the SCLC.
This collaborative engagement underscores DTI’s commitment to strengthen industry and government coordination and build a smarter, more resilient logistics ecosystem to support national competitiveness.
