The Department of Trade and Industry - Supply Chain and Logistics Group (DTI-SCLG) is planning to establish a dedicated logistics and supply chain center in Taytay, Rizal. This initiative aims to support Taytay’s growing reputation as the “Garments Capital of the Philippines.” Undersecretary Mary Jean Pacheco announced this during the Shop Taytay trade fair where she highlighted that Taytay has more than 5,000 business owners and 25,000 stalls, many of which are engaged in garment production. The local government is preparing to set up a trade center with full support from DTI-SCLG.
